Breaking Free from Humanity
The process of making a firm first step outbound from Earth, upon Lunar, unleashed a driving need within humanity's best minds and most determined successes to ascend. The cost of ascension was to depart from the coddled misconceptions of space romance, to defeat worldly norms and their own reactions, even dispense with their humanity. The rewards for success could not be measured by Earth's standards, for Earth was being left behind.

Everyone, during some point in their life, experiences emotions, situations and adversities that changes them, sometimes for the better, and sometimes, for the worse. And then there are times when we seem to leave our body mentally, to introspect about the world, its workings, and the people living in it. Everyone has that time in their lives where they wonder about how minds work, how relationships thrive, and what makes them, them. Sometimes, it's at night when you're going to bed, and life seems just a little different when there isn't any light illuminating it. Maybe it's in the shower, where tears mix with the water, and go unnoticed. Maybe it's early in the morning, just before dawn, when the idea of starting afresh doesn't seem quite so daunting. But remember. You're you because of your past. And you're no less than anybody else. Join me as I put words to my innermost feelings, as I voice my opinions. Join me as I gather the courage to write down thoughts that run through every person's mind at least once in their lives. Join me as I break conventions, as I rant and rave my way through these emotions, challenges, difficulties, opinions, that have the power to make me, or break me. The universe is large and is home to human and supernatural beings, with the largest race being the demons, whose world lays side by side with the human world. All is quiet and wonderful until fate decides that perfect order is far too boring for her and unleashes her own idea of 'fun' in the form of a coming doom that so happens to be the destiny of an innocent soul that knows nothing of the cruelty of the world. He is bound by his fate and sealed by a destiny far too cruel for a being that no doubt deserves love and affection. And fate? Let's just say, fate has intentions of fucking the world up. In today's rush of the world there is thinking of being better and successful and in the rat race of earning more money. In this thinking of human they became alone and lonely. They are left for themselves only. after getting everything they feel isolated and left out ,and feels sad and distressed. They can't share there feelings with anyone and stay silent. Sound of a Broken Drum
Syd is living on the edge of his broken psyche when he comes across the person he had been waiting his entire life to meet. As things flourish, the rude awakening of the edict "nothing gold can stay" changes the tune of Syd's life as he finds out a truth that is completely devastating. And in the world of mental illness, this is a particularly harsh reality where Syd has to make a difficult decision on what he has to give up in his life. But even a broken drum has to keep beating. The entire story has been published from Chapter 1 to the Epilogue. It is broken into three parts, each quite distinct from the others as Syd's life is altered dramatically. This thing is a labor of love. After completing the story, I realized how much it meant to me personally. I learned things about myself I did not know until I wrote it. I feel as if from writing "Sound of a Broken Drum", my life has changed. In the way I perceive it and in the way I perceive the world around me. This story is not for everyone. There are a lot of people I know who would never want to read something like this. It's not for the apathetic, the privileged, the ones who coast and indulge in the bullshit. I know a lot of people like that. Maybe I wrote it as a means to get away from them. There are certainly people I feel who would read something like this. The mentally-pained, the loners, introverts, the lonely, those who struggle through the everyday things many people take for granted. Those who know too much. And feel too much. I know what that is like. And I know this is why I wrote it. Because we can share each other's experiences through words, no one has to ever feel like they are alone, regardless of how distant the world is. And regardless of how much trash and clutter from society there is in the way of your field of vision, always know there are those few you will find who will make the struggle well-worth it. The words that I wish I could say...
The words that I wish I could say.. to some people how they made me feel , everything that ever happened. All about feelings and emotions, different situations that people can end up in. Also about psychology and that you don't know what other people are going through and sometimes the feelings you're ashamed of but they bother you or things that you're trying to hide from everyone , other people are also going through or went through and might help and support you.
