One afternoon Luz, Amity, Vee and Masha are hanging out when Luz gets the idea to have a quadruple date with them and Hunter, Willow, Matt and Gus. The secret is that their unsuspecting friends don't know it's a date, so when Luz only has enough money to order 4 milkshakes her friends are in for an embarrassing surprise that leads to them sharing a milkshake with their crush. Striking a deal with the devil probably wasn't smart... When Hexside High School's newest transfer student, Luz Noceda, runs into trouble on her first day at a new school, she does the best thing she can think of; Make a bet. All Luz has to do is beat Amity Blight's score on the semester exams. Amity just happens to be the top student. And exams are in a week.
