Saving Him

A nightmare.

That's what the entirety of his childhood was. Deeyan had grown up from the scared little boy chained in the basement of his home but the scars remained.

The physical scars had healed but it was the mental and emotional ones that remained with him.

He was never good at socializing and it became more apparent when he met this beautiful woman. She wasn't like any other woman he has ever met.

She was like a breath of fresh air. Never afraid to speak her mind and always found joy in simple things.

It was the hint of humanity and the fact that she didn't care about his lack of social skills that could maybe make the walls that Deeyan has built around him, crumble.

All stories don't ever end well, would theirs be a tragedy or have a happy ending. This could not be determined when bullets start flying, and secrets being unraveled leading them on a dangerous path which could result in their death as they were going after powerful people to save her brother.
