Sage London used to date Bruce Yamada before he was kidnapped by the grabber. Finney Blake played baseball with Bruce the day he went missing. To say she was crushed is an understatement. Bruce was the only one who made her feel whole.

The only reason Sage didn't feel whole was because of her family issues. Sage's mom and dad had gotten divorced two years ago. Sage visited her dad every other weekend, but over the summer she sometimes stayed over a week. But, her dad just recently got a new girlfriend and Sage hasn't taken it too well, her mom (the one who wanted the divorce) hasn't been dating due to her mental health.

Sage's mom has always struggled with her mental health, which may be one of the reasons she struggles with her mental health.

But, when Finney Blake had talked to her, she opened up to him and a few months later, they were dating.
