Their gods cursed them, took away the ability to bring life into their world and would have been willing to watch them die out. But their goddess saved them, she built a temple, a temple that sent children to them. Children would appear in that temple, knowing nothing of the world, and families would take them in. The four gods wouldalso build a temple that would do this as well. These temples created the Holy Lands, owned only by the gods and no wars would occur on this land. Not until an empress realized that whoever controls the Holy Lands controls everything. And now, a girl appears in one of those temples. A girl that will play a huge part in this war and will change everything people knew about this place.

Born into a world so cruel where the sky felt heavy and the nights were full. Six years old, and I swore I'd drown, but something deep inside wouldn't let me down. I was bastard child, a cursed name, but I never let them see my shame. With my lover gone, through the night and the day I miss her dearly. But I don't stop and travel forward, through memories and centuries. New land, same scars inside, Alone, destroyed, nowhere to hide. Then he came, that golden flame, A smile like sun through bitter rain. We walked together, side by side, found a girl with a child's wide eyes. I didn't trust her, not at all, But he asked me, so I took the fall. She touched my hand, I came alive. A goddess hidden, pure and bright. She made me feel, she made me breathe, She gave me something to believe. But belief can rot, and gods can fade. Now I'm drinking fire just to feel okay. She's gone, he's gone - I'm what remains, living on lust and a whisper of pain.
