New Year's Eve is a time for endings and beginnings.  Spending time with friends, family, loved ones.  The latter is what this story deals with.  A story about finding love on a winter's night, sometimes where you least expect it.
Each part is a new story or a new perspective, and each has a happy ending.  Because, after all, what's happier than finding love?
