Everyone knows about the witches in Luther, California. How openly they practice witchcraft. How hard they fought to feel safe in their home. How disgusted the nearby churches were of them.
But when a witch's corpse is found hanging from a tree at Pine Flat Lake in the first week of fall, none of them feel safe anymore.
Her best friend, Winona Martinez, begins to investigate the gruesome pattern targeting her peers and friends across her small town. In search of the culprit, she brings along the last person who saw her friend alive.
