The warrior she-cat Mouseflower, and her mate, Frondwhisker, are becoming increasingly uncomfortable in ThunderClan, their home since they were a kit. This is because their leader, Bluestar, let a kittypet into the clan, Firepaw. Although they are trying to be supportive of their leader, they have their doubts. Especially with Mouseflower's new litter coming soon, and the death of Redtail and Ravenpaw's increasing paranoia. Frondwhisker has his doubts about the noble warrior Tigerclaw, but neglects to tell Mouseflower, since the two were littermates.
