In the past Lillith Rosier seemingly had the perfect life. She was a pureblood Slytherin witch that surrounded herself by other purebloods. She had money. She had popularity. She even had her future husband planned for her to continue her pure bloodline. The issue was that no one really knew her, they all just thought they did. So when she disappeared at the end of her fourth year at Hogwarts people were surprised. Especially Sebastian Sallow. 

In the past, Sebastian Sallow had lost his parents. In the past, his sister was cursed and had to leave him. In the past, Lillith left without a word. Now in the present, all Sebastian has left is his best friend Ominis. But he knew he could get his sister back and there is nothing that can stop him. Then when a suspicious new fifth year appears at Hogwarts, Sebastian can't help but wonder if his sister finally has someone who can save her.

In the present, Regis Landry is a new fifth-year student at Hogwarts and for some reason, he can see ancient magic that no one else can. So not only are people trying to kill him but when he befriends Sebastian and Ominis he quickly realizes that maybe this magic can save lives and things become a lot more complicated. Now Regis has to not only deal with being the new kid at Hogwarts but he has to figure out how to make everyone happy even if he can't be happy himself. 

The future is not set and it will be up to Regis, Sebastian, and Ominis to use not only their gifts but the knowledge of the past to make their future perfect. But there is always a cost to perfection and someone will have to pay it.
