(May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet... Non-canon ships are not implied but take it as you wish, just not greenflame because no. She gives the ninja trouble and always manages to knock them down to their knees on every encounter. But Kai doesn't think of her the same way as everyone else does; he knows that there's more to the supposed cold-blooded killer she is- especially when he makes a surprising connection to something dear to him. But when other forces above the assassin makes their move, everything just get ten times more complicated for the ninja and Kai. Most stories have happy endings with love and peace.
