The future of the Marvel universe is a dangerous place...

In a universe trying to repair itself after a cataclysm it can be difficult for people to find their place, such as the crew of the ship known as 'The Warrior'. A band of misfits just trying to make it in spite of the forces around them, led by a captain who should have been dead long ago. A group that will have to question what they want to be when the universe puts them on a collision course with the future still on the horizon.


Note- The Warrior uses original characters from my other Marvel fan-fic stories such as Paragons, and also builds upon storylines in those stories. However you shouldn't need to have read those, or even have a strong knowledge of Marvel stories, to enjoy this one. Hopefully.

For those who are reading my other fan-fics, this tale largely takes place in Budd's history before he returns to the present in Paragons (damn time-travel shenanigans). So it's Budd's past, that takes place in the future. Basically.All Rights Reserved

The Dawn of X has arrived in the Marvel Universe. Xavier and his allies have founded the new mutant nation of Krakoa, promising a safe and supportive home for all mutants no matter who they are of their past crimes. Mutants have flocked to this new paradise, glad to free themselves of the hateful world they once lived in. Yet not all mutants are so eager to join this new nation, including the mercenary 'Darktruth'. But now a job has arrived at his door that will lead him to Krakoa, and force him to make a decision about what his future is going to be. Note- This is a new story starting off during the current 'Dawn of X' in the X-Men section of Marvel comics using some of my original characters. This is essentially a continuation of of fan-fiction I wrote on the old Marvel boards and more recently the Mickey's Tavern site, the latter where I've been posting this so far. It's a bit of a soft reboot, given some of these characters were left off in places that created problems for this story. I'll do my best to reintroduce all of my characters, and hopefully as I do I answer any questions for people who may have read my fan-fics before. This is an evolving story, meant for me to explore different ideas that are playing on my mind, particularly that grow from reading the comics. If this causes any inconsistencies as it goes (this is probably an ongoing story, with no set ending yet) I apologize, but will do my best to try and avoid that. Also this story will contain mature themes and events. I can't say exactly what it will contain so will give a general trigger warning, with specific ones on issues that dive into particular things. I just know I want to write a more raw story in the Marvel U, perhaps diving into things the comics can only touch upon due to their rating. Several liberties are taken, especially in regard to Thor's sexuality. This story, like the others in the series, heavily features homosexuality and all of its trappings. A while ago the question of what if an alien is so cute, a straight guy can't help but still fall in love depite the alien being male, came to me. And of course, the idea for a new story was born soon thereafter. This is the result, my latest novel set in the science fiction Aoyu Universe as of this writing, and the first (and at this time only) gay/bisexual romance themed story that I've written. --- During the Earth-Silth conflicts, two commanders of opposing warships played a game of chicken at one of the outer known solar systems, the result being a head-on collision and two ships fused together at the bows. After the cease fire agreement plans were made to salvage what they could from the ships and Alain from Earth was sent as part of a two man crew to recover components from the Earth vessel while a team from the Silth would handle theirs.
