Noah Bright was a bright, cheerful, and sociable young person who enjoyed interacting with others. He was thrilled upon learning that a new student had joined his homeroom class, hoping to forge new friendships. Despite knowing most of the students in high school, Noah occasionally felt lonely and craved companionship from new people.
Mary Wilson and Noah are good friends, but Mary doesn't seem to click with Noah's other friends. Additionally, she didn't seem too excited when she found out that a new student would be joining their language class. Mary is generally more reserved, but still more talkative than Ethan.
Michael Carson has earned the reputation of being a school bully. His interest was piqued upon learning that a new student would be joining, providing him with the opportunity to bully someone other than the usual targets he picks on.
Michael's sister, Emma Carson, is always there for him, standing by his side. If anyone ever bothers her, she turns to her brother for assistance to bully them back. Although she still bullies people like her brother, she feels regret and guilt deep down. On the surface, she appears to enjoy it and feels no remorse.
Elizabeth Blake is an animal nerd with an extensive knowledge of various animal species. She has a vast collection of animal books that she revisits frequently and reads day and night.
Pearl Anderson is a shy kid who is also a poet, a story writer, and an artist. When she she Ethan she thinks he would be good friends with her and maybe have things in common. Pearl also likes listening to music and her favorite is Melanie Martinez.

Sean Owens: a stoic, popular jock that's mostly known for his sporty lifestyle and his good looks at his school. No one -not even his closest friends- know he's gay, but he's never tried to hide it, just never tried to show it either. The one person that he thought he would tell about his sexuality was the same person that made him realize it, but that person stopped talking to him soon after he moved. It had been so long he couldn't even remember what his face looked like. But he didn't matter now, what mattered now to Sean was to get through this last year of highschool, and to get into college. Simple as that, it wasn't like his past crush was going to randomly appear in his school or something.
