Sarai, a Nigerian girl, finds herself at odds with her parents who favour her younger sister, Adaego, due to their belief that she brings good luck.

Sarai rebels against the family dynamic and struggles to express her feelings. One day, on her way to the market, Sarai comes into contact with an enchanted orb that leaves peculiar markings on her skin. She is puzzled by the situation but, in due course, discovers that the markings give her access to a forgotten world brimming with magic. 

A guardian enlightens her to the fact that she is the chosen hero tasked with saving the world. However, she soon finds herself struggling against a malignant power. With determination and the unique powers bestowed upon her by the orb, Sarai must thwart their sinister plot before it is too late.

It will feature similar plots to the OG NHS by Minorou and the fanfics by other creators I have the pleasure to read. With this as my first English fanfic novel, please don't be too harsh.
