Automatonophobia: the fear of dolls, mannequins...any wax figures that look remotely human.

Two siblings, running from their town that was once a safe haven, now was a constant reminder of their childhood tragedy. Ready to start a new life in the neighboring city of Gotham, not without running into some speed bumps along the way that affects the young sister into seeking help with an asylum she plans on getting herself a job in.

Little does she know there is much more to Arkham Asylum than just a high paycheck each week, her greatest horrors lie there...or is there much more than that?

(I must note that SOME of these themes don't appear often enough to make me mark this book as mature so try not to assume too much)

WARNING: this book has a bit of mature themes such as; the mention of Sexual assault and Suicide, Violence, Gore, Foul language, Phobias, Trauma Victims, Sexual scenes. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.

This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. I do not own any of these characters or the various original stories!! I just made my own remake of it. All rights go to the DC Universe and the creators of these awesome people. Thank you for trying out this story. I'm sorry if the parts that are from Joker's POV are terrible, but I tried to get as close to his twisted personality as possible. It isn't exactly easy to predict what the most unpredictable character ever made would say and do. I mostly went off of the movie scenes for his character. Please be nice to each other, and no rude comments. I may have a few spelling errors, so if you let me know, I will try to get to them.
