It never struck you as a bad idea to work at the morgue within the Raccoon City Police Department. Who knows, maybe dealing with the dead could give you some unforseen edge someday.
You didn't realize how soon someday was.
(This is a sort of soft-reboot of my previous fic on here "City of the Dead", hope y'all enjoy the changes I made to it)

Raccoon City....1997. The day that changed everything for Leon S. Kennedy. He was once a fresh faced Police academy graduate. As a rookie he was assigned to the Raccoon City police department and was looking forward to his assignments. However his nightmare began before he got to the city. Stopping at a gas station to fill up he was unnerved by the quietness. The clear chirping of crickets made him tense up. After walking into the store to pay and grab a snack he came across a scene from a horror movie. The store was dead quiet. A blood trail led him to an injured security guard who just pointed to the back rooms. Leon investigated and found another officer restraining a suspect however the suspect managed to overpower the officer and took him down before he attacked the officer. Leon watched on horrified by what he saw as the suspect bit into the officer's neck and ripped out his intestines. Leon's fight or flight kicked in as he drew his gun and fired. Then he became surrounded by sick looking individuals. In a panic Leon fled driving off in the police car driven by the now dead officers but that was only the beginning. The beginning of his nightmare. Yu Asahido was your typical Japanese-american college freshman. At 19 years old he attended Raccoon City university. He was well liked and handsome to boot. Once the outbreak happened he was locked in the school's pool room. All he had to defend himself was a worn old baseball bat and his pocket knife. Using his athletic abilities that garnered him a scholarship he managed to find a way out and fled into the city. Thats when he came across Leon. Relived to see a friendly face the two stuck together and managed to survive the bombing. 6 years later they reunite again as yet another horror awaited them.

New York City isn't the safest place with a rather high crime rate. But it's the state of opportunity. When a 15 year old named Y/N moves to New York with their family, they have a hard time adjusting to the new city life after having lived in a small town their whole life. With their parents' new jobs they have no choice but to comply and leave their old life behind. When Y/N gets into some basic city trouble with some not-so-nice mutants and yokai, they end up meeting a team of turtles and one seems to catch their eye. Red becomes their new favorite color and they get to know the group and make some new friends. While intimidating at first, the biggest of the four is a real sweetheart. Y/N can feel themself falling but refuses to believe it. Will the mutate ever like them back? Will Y/N except it? (it starts off kind of slow, with a bit of character build up, but I promise it'll get going around chapter 2-3! I am going to try and not have to many things that make people mad, like authors notes everywhere, bad grammar, etc. I am trying my best to keep updates constant! I DO TAKE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM!
