Niall met Charlotte along with her daughter on a very foul night in London, after he found them covered in blood. Led him to take a responsibility he never saw coming. Through court, and hospitals, and Harry's flat, lockdowns, they make the most of their memories.
As time went on Niall finds out the questions he has been storing, feeling attraction out of the blue for Charlotte and Adoration for Mia, he has the need to stay and just be there for them both.
On the other hand. Charlotte believes a guy like Niall shouldn't be around her. All his cuteness and affection do wear off on her but she decides to contradict it all, for that she doesn't want to hurt him and drag him into her harsh ful past.
