Do You See Me Now

When I was a young girl, my mother told me of how my father and her met and mated. How everything just clicked. The world shifted in to focus in a good way. Once their eyes met and their wolfs recognized each other, they couldn't look away. I foolishly thought the day I met my mate the same would happen.

Except all I got was a nod of his head as he passed by on the way to his pickup truck and a long glance as he pulled away from the pack house. he's been gone for 6 long years now. He left a few days after my 18th birthday. He's set to return from training soon. Ment to come home and take his birth right from his father, our current alpha.

He was 17 when he left. so he would have known I was his mate for at least a year
And never approached me. he had never seemed to notice me until that day. I had always thought I was invisible to him. I guess I was in a way. a purposeful way. One that had almost broken me when I realized he had gone out of his way to ignore our bond. He had purposefully rejected me with out even giving me that. It was as if he was keeping his options open while he went of to "train".

Then the anger came. Fuck him. Fuck him and fuck our bond. The moon goddess was put of her mind with pairing us. I refused to be his unseen little mate while he got his rocks off where ever he went. But when he got home, I'd make sure he'd see me now.
