Trading Assassins

Etheline Winters always suspected something was off about her existence. Since her birth, things have always been off. Her parents were ghosts that simply never existed. Etheline spent her youth trying to locate them with no success.

To top off the bad misfortune she was thrown into the foster system shortly after her birth. Every few months she was carted off to different parts of England and at one point, found herself in Ireland. When no one came to pick her up on her arrival at sixteen; she ran off, dropping from the map and determined to stay with her head down and nose to the grindstone.

Uneventful. That's how it stayed for 9 years.

Ordinary, boring, normal. That's all she wanted to be. Just plain old Etheline Nicole Winters.
Unfortunately, that's not how life works and she soon meets Harry Styles. Although, when she met him for a date, he gave the name Gwyn Hawthorn. A person she believed to have been talking with.

He was cynical, sarcastic and blunt; not at all like the person she had been texting on the phone. It was for a reason though. One he would sooner die than disclose. He had a job to do and he was determined to complete it, because truth told; he wanted out of the assassin's life and when his boss offered him a ticket to normalcy; Harry jumped at the chance to take it.

Kidnapping her was relatively easy.

The events to follow after were turmoil he hadn't accounted for and it could very well throw Harry's whole operation to hell.
