During the Battle of the Nest, something goes wrong after the warp gate gets destroyed by Lefav.
Instead of being teleported along with Jinsung, Cha and Traumerei, Baam's soul gets flung back into the past to the point when he first entered the Tower.
However, things are not as simple as they look as many things have changed. New friends, new enemies, new plots. Things in the Tower are still the same, but ever so different.

Tower of God - To Climb the Tower - Second Floor
8,000 years before the Twenty-Fifth Bam entered the Tower, it was like a different place, yet also the same. It is currently in the middle of the reign of Lord Joochun, and the Jahad Empire is solidifying its hold over the Tower as part of his progressive and more proactive policies. Yet, at the same time, unrest is bound to happen in the Tower's political environment as a result. Whether it be within the Imperial political system, or from its enemy from the outside, FUG. And naturally, as part of this system, Regulars are bound to be affected by this turbulent time period in the Tower. From all over the 134 Floors in the Tower, residents are selected by Headon to become Chosen Regulars. All wish to fulfill their desires. Some political, some not. Some good, some evil, and some neither. And finally, some selfish, and some not. But all Regulars have to start somewhere... The Second Floor of the Tower. The bulwark to see who is worthy and who is not, failure to pass it is unacceptable. You must be strong, clever, or at the very least, be lucky enough to pass. And yet, perhaps this new batch of Regulars may carry several individuals capable of shaking the Tower in some way or another. The First Arc of To Climb the Tower, a story made of a cast of Original Characters, separate from the canon of Tower of God.
