provocation[NOR44]

"my brother is nothing but a damn liar". My voice sounds even louder, now that I'm here on this balcony. I look over to him, nothing but a blank expression on his face and a the glow of a cigarette between his lips.

"Your brother should be the least of your problems", he murmurs, taking a puff off his cigarette. "You are young, you should follow your dreams".

I look nowhere else but the lights of the city of Miami. They looks so beautiful to me, even though they fade out the stars. The city lights are like a replacement for them, the only difference is that they don't look as pretty.

"And you should not follow your fathers lead".
