Luffy gets love from her entire family, she lives a great life. She should be happy. But she isn't. She's failing her classes and has no hope to get out of the small town of limited opportunity. Her self-worth is just as minimal as the opportunities in town. She hides her shame with a look of happiness.

One day, Law and Luffy cross paths with each other. Two hurting souls help each other build and grow stronger.
