It started with mirrors received on their thirteenth birthdays, and now it looks like their story is coming to an end. This was a story I had started to write when I was younger, but I never got around to finishing it. My grandma had brought up how she wanted to at least know how the story would end, so I wrote this. The original story was called "Finding Marina" but this one is only the ending, so that's why it's called "A Final Goodbye".

Thank you. Started; 01/30/2023 Finished; 02/06/2023 Plot; Princess Lucia is a seventeen year old girl who lived with her mother and father. The king and queen. She has a twin brother named Lucas. Little that she doesn't know, her brother try to get rid of her due to envy. He was younger than her. Lucia was being appointed to become the next queen for the kingdom. The royal guards ambushed the princess and took her away to the witch's house near the ocean. The two white witches agreed to help the princess for her desperate plea to return to her home castle. And stop her brother for his act of disposing his only twin sibling. The two white witches told her to take a swim in the sea before leaving. Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid. She has a long way to see her pink tail fin works in the ocean floor.Complete

This is a mermaid story. Don't judge. Pale is a normal 14 year old girl until one day she finds herself craving for water. Not to drink it, but to swim in it. Pale has never loved swimming or the beach, I mean yeah she would do it, but this change in attitude scares her. It not until a matter of time until she goes into the ocean and finds herself a mermaid. 14 year old Pearl has been a mermaid for her whole life. She has always lived with her mom and older sister. But one day, during a big storm, Pearl gets separated from her mother and older sister, and Pearl finds herself closer to the human world. It's not until a matter of time until these two mermaids meet and become friends. But when Pale gives Pearl a taste of a surfing competition at the human world, Pale discovers the truth that she is missing and people are preparing a reward for the people who find her. Dated 500 years in the future, the humans world has collapsed under the weight of climate change, causing Tsamis and droughts that have wiped out huge chunks of the population. They are no longer the dominant species on earth, even if only one human knows this. Aquarians, a mermaid species, are now the largest intelligent species on earth, and they have decided to never even come into contact with humans long ago, when the humans betrayed them. But now, their species is also being affected by the pollution, and the Aquarians realize some of the researchers (who can only be male) must go search for the serum the humans created and abandoned in a coral reef, long ago. Thats where Marina, the reserved and kind Aquarian, has been chosen to help, even if shes not a researcher, not male, nor the proper age, her destiny to save the endangered species is granted.
