Mark protects against threats that may be on his territories, while he holds a troubling secret, and hopes to avoid falling in love again to live the tragedy once more. This resistance of his may be in jeopardy, when he meets his beloved-- the problem is she happens to be an sworn enemy to vampires. His beloved is a nun.

Their bond will be the cause for other vampire Kingdoms to be threatened, from what they view as betrayal from Mark Knight, and with their bond stirring a strife. This makes the unlikely pair go on the run.
In which their journey is met with unlikely acquaintances, breaking family secrets, and even fighting to stay together. There will be many enemies that want Mark's heart on a silver platter, but what they don't know is his heart may already be in Tia's safe hands.

His hand covering the bloody injury. The blood from it stained his white shirt. He opened those brown eyes I adore, then parted his lips to mutter softly.
