At the age of 10 Eleonora was kidnapped from her home in italy. The Espositos have done so much to try to find her after about 5 years they stopped looking for her thinking she was dead. On the other hand Nora was tortured to a crisp. Nora knew she had family, she knew she had 6 brothers. After years of her captors saying they were dead and weren't coming back. Eleonora started believing them, her family was gone.
