Nova- an astronomical term for the appearance of a bright, new star that slowly fades over time.
Sirius- the brightest star in Earth's night sky.
For twins, Sirius and Nova seem to get along pretty well, It may partially have to do with the trauma bonding, but whatever. They're finally going to get away from their parents and go to Hogwarts. They'll make friends with whoever and not just the stupid Slytherin posse that they're expected to join.
Everything is as good as it can get until Sirius chooses to rebel and that stupid sorting hat ruins the rest of their lives by sorting them into different houses.
