When Mushi Master and Yokai Master come together, common interests get muddled. This story takes place in Japan during the time between the Edo and Meiji era. Reader has a 6th sense when it came to Yokai and Mushi, which is very rare in the world, as it is usually either or, not both. The reader can feel/understand/hear the energies of the Yokai and the Mushi, but cannot see either of them unless they show themselves to her. To hone their skills, they were trained under both Mushi and Yokai masters. When they reached their twenties, they befriended Ginko the Mushi master. Then Monk, a Yokai master. Helping them on their cases whenever needed, her friendships with them never crossed, until she was diagnosed with an illness that will kill her.
With a year left of her life, reader decides that their dying wish is to help all those that she can so that her memories and honor may be lived on when she cannot.
Ginko and Monk, have other ideas when they hear the news...

Disclaimer: Reader is dying so they have a sense of morbidity when thinking/talking about their life, as they come to accept they are dying, which might not be suited for some people when reading. I also like character growth so this is going to be a slow burn of Ginko and Monk, who've been pining for you for years, finally showing their feelings (and potentially having very nonchalant passive-aggressive fights about it).
This is very obscure, but because there are not a lot of fics about either of these characters, I'mma write about them.
~I do not own any of the pictures and found them off Google (though I did do the edit) and of course, I do not own Ghost Hunt or Mushi-Shi~
Jungkook had always felt unlucky. Nothing ever went according to his plans.
But time travel was not something he'd ever imagined.
In 2024, Jungkook unexpectedly found himself in a time before South Korea existed, when it was still part of China. Suddenly, he was in the emperor's pool, face-to-face with a stern ruler. The emperor's first words to him were a chilling command: "Behead him."
