"Until the storm passes." Antonio replied with a smile. He took off his scarf and wrapped it around the Italian's neck. Lovino scowled and lifted the cloth to where it was covering his mouth. They trudged down the snow covered path, hoping that they could find their way out of the maze of trees. A strong gust of wind blew a wall of snow towards them. They fought against it's strength, pushing forward and holding their heads down. Eventually, it died down and they continued their journey. "Stupid tomato bastard. Going and getting us lost in the woods." Lovino said angrily. He crossed his arms and scanned the trees. Nothing. They couldn't see anything farther than ten feet away. It was hopeless. "Don't worry, Lovi. Boss will get you out of here!" The Spaniard said, completely un-wavered by the insult. He reached over and pulled Lovino close, making sure to keep his arm wrapped tightly around the man. Another gust of wind came. Although, this one was much worse. The blades of the storm cut through Antonio's exposed skin as he draped himself over Lovino. The wind was too strong. They were knocked to the ground. Antonio scrambled to his feet and tried to see through the blur of white. "Lovi!" He yelled over the howling wind. "Lovi!" No answer.

My jaw clenched. "Go to hell." He leaned in, close enough that I could smell the whiskey on his breath, mixed with something darker-dangerous. "Ladies first." The tension was suffocating, charged like a wire ready to snap. I refused to back down, tilting my chin up defiantly. "You think you intimidate me?" Leon's fingers brushed against my bare arm-just the slightest graze, barely there. But it was enough. A shiver shot through me, my breath hitching before I could stop it. His eyes flickered with recognition, as if he felt it too, but he masked it with that infuriating smirk. Before I could react, he moved. One second I was standing, the next, my back slammed against the cold wall, a gasp ripping from my throat. He had me caged in, his hands braced on either side of my head, his body pressing just close enough to taunt me without touching. "You're trembling," he noted, his voice low, almost teasing. I forced a scoff, ignoring the wildfire spreading beneath my skin. "You wish." His gaze flickered down to my lips, just for a second, before locking onto my eyes again. "I don't need to wish, Mariella. I already know." My hand shot up, aiming for his smug, infuriating face, but he was faster. He caught my wrist with ease, his grip firm, his smirk deepening. "Tsk, tsk. That's not very ladylike." I narrowed my eyes. "Neither is this." Before he could react, I swung my other hand, slapping him hard across the face. The sound cracked through the hallway like a gunshot. His head snapped to the side, his jaw tightening. When he turned back to me, his expression was unreadable-except for the unmistakable flicker of rage in his eyes.

But one thing she didn't count on is how much this latest chapter in her life is going to forever change her. Lorenzo is next in line to be the next Don Moretti. He is pretty much set in life. He's young, good looking, has girls throwing themselves at him and all the money in the world to do as he pleases. But for once, a certain blonde has caught his eye and this time, he's not the one dictating the rules, she is. * * * "Strip" I ordered. He wasted no time and did as I say. "Get on the bed." He climbed on my bed and lie down in the middle with only his boxers remaining. "Aren't you a bit overdressed mi amore?" I took his necktie and tied his hands together over his head and attached it to the headboard. "Ooh, kinky." He cooed, licking his lips in anticipation. Then, I climb down and stand next to the bed and take a few seconds to admire my handiwork before I went back to what I was doing on my PC. Sniggering a little at Lorenzo's expense. That should teach him to not mess with me. "Wait, what?" a slight panic in his voice, realizing that he had been played, he tried to pull his hands free. "Capri! This is not funny." * * * • MATURE THEMES 18+ • Started: 28.8.2021 Finished: 06.5.2022

𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐚 I downed a shot of tequila, allowing the burning liquid to slide down my throat and settle in my stomach. I deserved to have some fun without boundaries. I poured a second glass and it disappeared as quickly as the first. Then came the third, fourth and fifth. Still I wasn't satisfied. My landlady was a bitch, I was fired and my boyfriend cheated on me. My nerves were shot to hell! My eyes lazily scanned the nightclub as I consecutively downed my sixth shot for the evening. Life's a bitch. 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐨 I sat in the VIP section of the club, a glass of vodka in my hand as I watched the woman several yards away drowning herself in tequila. My lips curled in amusement. The red dress she wore showed a generous amount of cleavage, her ass was ripe and full, begging to be groped. She looked to be eighteen. I wondered what a pretty thing like her was doing in a place like this, drinking like there was no tomorrow. Not that it was any of my business. Women came, got laid and wasted in this nightclub every night. Nothing special to see here. "Muori figlio di puttana." I pulled the trigger on my gun and shot the Mexican in the head after he was caught stealing coke from my warehouse. Blood splattered everywhere, staining the walls and my designer suit. I tucked my gun back in my pocket and left the ally. "He killed a guy!" I shrieked as I turned to run away from there as fast as possible. Just as I was about to run back inside, a large hand clamped around my neck and I was pressed up against a rock solid chest. My jaw was caressed by - a gun!? "Going somewhere piccola?" a deep voice whispered in my ear. "Let me go, you sick twisted bastard!" I growled. "Feisty and a foul mouth. I like it," he chuckled. "You killed someone! I'm calling the cops!" I shouted. "Princess I own the cops," he said stroking my face. "and now I own you. Say goodbye to your old lif

Luca Valenti doesn't pick fights. He pours coffee, listens to soft jazz, and keeps his world peaceful. But when Isla Moretti, the cold, untouchable mafia queen, storms into his café at midnight, dripping rain and rage, peace is the last thing she brings. She barks out an order like he's one of her men. He leans against the counter, unimpressed. "Try asking nicely." She glares. "Do you know who I am?" Luca places a cappuccino in front of her, slow and deliberate. "Yeah. You're someone who still needs caffeine to function." She should walk out. She should put a bullet in him just for daring to talk back. But instead, she stays. Seething. Sipping. Staring at the one man in this city who doesn't shrink under her name. And for the first time in years, she feels small. It happens again. And again. Their fights grow sharper, their words cut deeper, but Luca never throws her out. Even when she slams her hands on the counter. Even when her voice trembles with something that's not quite anger. One night, after a particularly brutal fight, she lingers at the door. Hesitates. And when she turns back, he's already making her coffee-no words, no expectations. Just warmth waiting for her. She should stop coming back. Should stop letting him see parts of her no one else gets to. But Luca? He doesn't flinch at her darkness. And that terrifies her more than anything. Because the longer she stays, the more she wonders-what if she doesn't want to be feared? What if, just this once, she wants to be understood? Original Story by Akari Image © to the respective owner.

I pull my canteen out and take a swig of my hot cider letting it warm my body, but got interrupted by my sister shouting at me over the wind. "Can you take a picture of me? I have to post it to my followers when we get back down the mountain!" I roll my eyes and turn towards her, I don't even have to say anything to her, because she knows i'll always take photos for her as annoying as she may be. I peel off my mittens and feel the harsh wind eat away at my bare fingers. I stuff them in my bag, before I grab her phone and start backing up to get a better angle of her. She stands by the edge of the cliff and poses. I snap a few photos then flip the camera to take a few selfies with her in the background, even with her words of protest. I walk up to her at the edge, feeling the snow crunch under my boots, and hand her phone back. I then swing my rucksack around to the front of me, get on my knees and start to dig around for my mittens. I suddenly feel the ground shake under me. Before I could even stand up fully, the snow under my legs crumble before my eyes. Holy fuck. The snow is coming loose and is avalanching. I already feel my body fall backwards as the ground under me disappears. I look up at my sister whose face has morphed into shock. My body feels as light as a feather. This is the end for me I know it. I brace my self for deadly impact, but it never comes.. A bright light flashes as everything around me goes white. I wake up to be laying in soft snow with my rucksack on top of me. My head spun as I sat up. I look around and all I see are large trees. In fact, these trees look larger than any i've ever seen in my life, which includes the ones on Animal Planet. Where the hell am I? I look up at the sky and I see two suns? Did I get a concussion? No that can't be, i'm not seeing double with trees or my fingers. {Transmigration to Beast Continent successful} {System 002 has now been assigned to you}
