A school journalist, a bad boy, and a detention unit is the perfect recipe for disaster. Genna Brooks, a 17 year old Senior at Melow County High School, has lived in Oregon her entire life, and for her fourth year in a row, been a part of a school journalism team. Since a young child, Genna had been gifted with a vivid eye and a knack for taking pictures, and had even begun looking into taking a job at a New York City Publishing Industry when she graduated; One wrong move, however, sets a new course for her life. She finds herself in situations foreign to her, and somehow, Oregon just begins to feel so much bigger than she remembered it to be.
