In this alternate universe of Harry Potter, the dark lord Voldemort has been vanquished, and the wizarding world is at peace. However, the newest addition to the story is Rose Marie Evans, the youngest sister of Lily Potter, who is four years her junior. Rose is beautiful and intelligent, but doesn't enjoy all the attention that comes with it. She hoped that when her sister received her Hogwarts letter, the focus would shift to her. Unfortunately, she was wrong. The spotlight was still on Rose, and she quickly became known as the perfect little sister to a perfect girl.

Despite her initial reservations, Rose found herself making friends easily. She was well-liked by everyone, except for one person: Severus Snape. He saw her as a stuck-up princess who was trying to show everyone up, but he never voiced his opinion because he didn't want to upset Lily. As the years went by, the gang graduated from Hogwarts, but Rose still had four more years to go.

During those four years, Rose discovered her own identity and made many new friends, including a potential love interest. After graduation, she went abroad with her boyfriend, leaving Snape behind. He thought he was finally done with her, but fate had other plans.

Rose returned abruptly, now single and working as a teaching assistant at Hogwarts for none other than Severus Snape himself. They were both shocked to see each other again after so long, and their old animosity resurfaced immediately.
