Sarai is working hard to build a life outside the orphanage for herself and her sister Celine. But one rainy day, Celine suddenly disappears. Sarai spends two frantic days searching the city for her. On the second day, a ring falls out of a passing carriage and rolls right to Sarai's feet. It's Celine's ring.
Desperate, she tries to confront the man dressed all in black who was in the carriage, but he won't even look at her. Unable to get past his guards, Sarai realizes she'll need to come up with another plan to reach this mysterious man and find out what happened to her sister.
