Armed with nothing but a GED and a small sum of inheritance money, you move to Hawkins, Indiana in March 1985 for a fresh start.
It is not your first choice in new places to live-not by a long shot. But when you threw a dart at a map of America and it landed outside of Indianapolis, your research led you to Hawkins. It seems that the town has a strange history with science experiments and government cover-ups, but that's all in the past...right?
This is a "Stranger Things" choose-your-own-adventure inspired by the ST choose-your-own-adventure novel, "Heroes & Monsters." It's written in 2nd-person, present-tense and is a Steve Harrington x reader fic.

This story is a Steve x oc fem. But at first it's mainly following the friendship of Eddie and the main girl. Steve is just mentioned at times. He becomes the leading man after the whole Vecna awfulness. She loves him like the brother she's never had. But seeing as something's weird in this small town she's dragged in to events leading to Eddie's death. Emma doesn't know how to deal with life anymore, how do you go on when your best friend in the whole world dies?
