Kono Chiyo, a stubborn beauty of a woman. She's one of seven siblings, stuck in the younger middle range between them. She has a large family, even outside of just her siblings. She has 4 separate sets of cousins, all of which with more offspring than her household. She's constantly compared to everyone beside her for her independence, quite the ugly trait for a woman. She never seemed to care though.
