Kaitlyn Murphy always plans ahead she's always been like that all through high school and even before that. When plans change she doesn't like it so what happens when her plans change completely. She was supposed to go to college in New York with her best friend share an apartment study business and get on with her life. What happens when her best friend changes her mind and goes to Washington instead. Kaitlyn has no money for the apartment on her own and is forced to live in the dorms with an obnoxious roommate.
Carter Owen was the bad boy of the high school Kaitlyn went to and happens to go to the same college as her. He has the same problem an obnoxious roommate. Both of them never really liked each other in high school but they can't stand there roommates. So when they regularly see each other on a bench because of there roommates they come up with an idea. One apartment. Two people who hate each other. A history. A bad boy. A control freak. Four years. A big city. And love that is deeper than anyone can understand.
