Lee Min-Jun and Park Do-Yoon were best friends in high school, but when their lives showed different paths, they quickly split apart. Park Do-Yoon followed his dream to become an artist. While Lee Min-Jun became a barista at a local cafe, got married, and even had a son named Lee Tae-Min. However, Min-Jun's marriage did not last long resulting in a painful divorce, leaving him with a broken heart and ending up with full custody of Tae-Min. Six years later, Min-Jun and Do-Yoon reunite in the middle of town. The two instantly recognize each other and start bonding again as if they were back in high school. The two grow close once more trying to spend as much time with each other as they can, and what's better? Tae-Min has taken a liking to Do-Yoon. As time passes and the two friends get closer an unexpected romance begins to blossom. Min-Jun's heart begins to heal once again, and the two can barely keep themselves away from each other until Do-Yoon suddenly starts trying to distance himself from Min-Jun. Being diagnosed with an illness and begin left with very little time to live Do-Yoon doesn't want to share the terrible news and instead tries to get away from Min-Jun, but with the love between them so strong he finds it impossible to do so. So Do-Yoon plans to spend the rest of his life with Min-Jun and Tae-Min as the clock begins to quickly count down.
