"How about a deal?" It was a bargain. After feeling like she's goddamn useless Ekisha was offered a bargain, one she couldn't ignore. Ekisha live with her only living relative, her brother, Everette. It is customary in their kingdom to select a representative of each families to enter the "prestigious" Academy of Occults, who will eventually take part on the battle between the Kingdom of Pharaphel and Zenon, in exchange the academy provide all of their families necessities for a decade and above all, safety. Ekisha was insistent on taking the role, however Everette refused to let her and enlisted himself instead. On her wits end she found herself lost in a district where she as a commoner could had never dreamed of going through, not just because she doesn't have the fortune, oh no not just that, but also because of the palpable discrimination of noblemen. By the time she noticed where she was, she was picking a fight and beaten to, well, half away from death. Fortunately or unfortunately for her, an old man saw her. He offered her a bargain to enter the Academy of Occults and she's not foolish enough to refuse that.

Sorcha Byrne and her twin used to love mythology when they were little. Their parents will tell them stories about the different gods and goddesses, and naturally, her twin brother's favorite is the King of the Gods, Zeus. But she was more drawn to Hestia. The goddess of the hearth, home, and family. While Hestia was most known for tending the hearth and ensuring the well-being of her community, that wasn't what made Sorcha interested in her. It was the fact that she's wise enough to keep to herself, stay in a quiet place, and save herself from all the dramas around her. She's the greatest unbothered queen, and Sorcha see herself in her. The only difference is that their hearths are far different from one another. She's like a frosty version of Hestia. Not that she's unfeeling or anything. She's just more comfortable with ignoring everything around her. Since she makes no effort to try to understand the world outside of her own, it wasn't surprising that it's now causing her problems. So here she is facing a dilemma since her no-nonsense attitude is causing problems at work. She was expecting to get fired, but the Dawson siblings are really good employers. As a compromise, they propose an interpersonal skills training just for her. She just need to take on a small special case where she will be shadowed to mentor someone in the ins and outs of her daily job. Wala naman sanang problema. It's supposed to be easy... except it wasn't. Not when the person she's "babysitting" is far from the idea she have of a wide-eyed student, and instead she's going to be stuck for ninety hell days with Darien Zeon Henderson, also known as Daze, a famous actor who is currently preparing for a role he's going to play. Ninety days? Damn it. Someone just please burn me and sacrifice me to the gods and goddesses, or it would be Daze Henderson that I will offer as one!
