One day, he had received a letter from the queen. He believed his wife was gone but he was wrong. Thranduil was pushed into a crazy ride. He had to fight an evil protagonist with his wives beside him. (Yes, wives.) See how Thranduil and his family deal with the secrets of Mirkwood.

Being the middle sibling, Aearon knew her life would be full of struggles; she would not inherit the throne nor would she allow herself to be paraded around for others to admire. Mirkwood (Thranduil and Tauriel post-BOTFA)
The relationship between Thranduil and Tauriel after the Battle of the 5 Armies. How Tauriel is dealing with the aftermath of the battle as she goes back to Mirkwood and realizes that she has always wanted Thranduil's love and affection in her life. It turns out there has been more behind their turbulent relationship than they let themselves believe. The story follows their relationship from the days and weeks after the battle to many years later, during the events from LOTR and after. I absolutely loved their chemistry in the Hobbit and this is my first fanfic. I tried to keep the characters as close to the movie versions as I could (since Tauriel only appears in the movies and Thranduil's personality is only vaguely presented in the books). I am also including info about what happened to Thranduil's realm after the Hobbit from the LOTR book appendices...
