It's 1911 along the border between the United States and Mexico. Victoria and her mother, Maria, live a life surrounded by crime and danger, always evading the law.

Victoria, though haunted by the life they lead, remains a kind and grateful daughter, her compassion reserved for those who have not yet earned death. But at night, her mind drifts to a simple, peaceful life-one without violence or uncertainty. Unfortunately, that dream remains just that-an impossible dream.

Ethan and Billy are determined to see Victoria and Maria behind bars. Ethan is driven by a sense of duty, while Billy, once a man of privilege, lost everything to addiction and despair. His hatred for criminals runs deep, and he sees Victoria as a symbol of everything that's wrong in the world.

In a desperate bid for survival, Victoria is forced to play a dangerous game with Billy-seducing him to save herself and her mother from certain capture. But as she navigates the treacherous terrain of manipulation and desire, her world begins to unravel. Billy's icy resolve begins to crack, and his feelings for Victoria evolve into something far more dangerous than either of them expected.

Meanwhile, a new threat emerges-a vengeful Mexican woman hunts those responsible for the murder of her brothers, and her thirst for revenge threatens to destroy everything in her path.

Will they find a chance at peace, or will the collision of past sins and present dangers lead to an even darker future? Billy and Victoria's fates are bound together-yet the price of survival may be too high for them to pay. Every choice will determine their fate, and not everyone will make it out alive.
