Sap comes over to Karl's "planning" for a week together, they end up dating and they go to a picnic together. After a week, sap gets bad with depression and Karl tries to help but does nothing since sap's other self doesn't want Karl around. Karl suggests that they go down to sap's and move him from his house to karls. Sap zones out during the drive and everything goes downhill from there.
