What if all those fairytales you read about were true? Only...they weren't your typical happily ever after. Levi awakes to find himself in a hospital bed after being in a coma for two weeks in a small town called Riverton with no memories of who he is. With the help of a newfound friend, Levi struggles to regain his memories of his life before the hospital, and as he retraces his steps, he runs into a familiar girl named Elyssa. For some unexplained reason, he feels drawn to her, but is shocked when she starts blabbering about how most of the people from the town were actually characters in a storybook under a sleeping curse. That's not even the crazy part. She couldn't expect him to believe that he, an orphan of all people, was supposed to be some prince destined to break the curse. That he was meant to save this mystical kingdom from Snow White and the Dragon Rokoda. He wasn't some prince, and he most certainly was no dragon slayer. But when he does come to remember his life in Riverton...will it be correct? Or just another trick invented by the curse? In a world called Meadowpeak, the Dragon King is presumed dead, left this world behind years ago and abandoned his people to suffer under the hands of Snow White's ancestors. Now, after centuries, dragons are scarce. Most of them were hunted and killed by Snow White and her lineage, fearing that the Dragon King would one day return to take back his kingdom. I flinch as his hand reaches to my face, and aggressively pulls down the cloak from my head. He surveys my tear stained face and jewelry all the way down to my dress. Then he speaks, "what's your name?" I open my mouth but no words come out. Fear grips me again. "I believe I asked you a question," his eyes grow darker. "Al-Alice" I whisper. His eyes wander outside to the window. "You will address me as 'your highness' and I do not tolerate mistakes. I will punish you and you will never forget to follow my orders.
