Distraught By james a. galgano Distraught Shame on such misdeeds thoughtlessly committed seemingly without a care. Though no fault was admitted it was apparent where the blame lies prone While parties affected are both far away and alone unable to make sense At whose expense such deeds go invariably without recrimination or penalty For where love is concerned two parties share equally in the accountability Within the unending register which opens and shuts for change never completed Lovelorn emotions so often depleted by the hurt we cause without thought or avenue. There we see our love and life draped before us upon drawn canvas in view. Hoping beyond all shadow of ill-defined doubt where nightmares often occur There is where life and love blend in time yet by misconception too often blurred. Unfortunately incurred upon misbegotten lines extending often out into space Where love is lore and life disgraced upon unending dotted line into unending grace How where were these lips and eyes so often quiver for one moment to savor your loving face? Upon endless lips forever resigned where love holds desire elusive by design demure What love is lost inscription? On written page ill defined upon and within forgettable mind or face Where my fleeting hopes lie deep in the shadow of your endless embraceAll Rights Reserved
