Historical
In the late 1800's, Mercy Allen is fed up with living a life full of torture and finally gets a chance at her dream of running away disguised as a boy. But life as an outlaw isn't all sunshine and rainbows. After running with the Del Lobos for a few years she was left to die with the O'Driscolls. After a daring escape, she parted ways and tried to escape the outlaw life by becoming a stable hand in the town of Blackwater. After a year or so, she had grown into her femininity and was swept off her feet by a young banker, who took her to live in the mountain town of Strawberry. But life was only taking a turn for the worst. Dotty Parlor, a tall woman who was running with the Hetfield Gang led by Silas Hetfield, finds a poor injured young Mercy Allen running through the mountain roads late at night. Their paths would forever be intertwined, for better or worse.
