7 years. 4 houses. 1 dangerous secret. What would have happened if the Dark Lord had been killed in their first year at Hogwarts? what if only a few people, and a few minor changes, changed it all?

Maddalena Anteras knew Hogwarts would become something like a home for her. She knew she would be sorted into a house, she knew she would make friends. She knew to be friendly, after all her mother said it was her best quality. She knew to avoid anyone rumored to be a hunter. She knew not to tell anyone about her family, that to be found could mean death. She knew that her secrets weren't meant for others' ears. She knew that for the most part, she would be safe, after all, she had been assured of it. She didn't know she would meet someone like him. She didn't expect Draco Malfoy. She didn't prepare for him, but before she knew it, he became much more to her than she ever could have expected.

The war is won. Voldemort is dead. The trio, alongside all those who were in their same year, have returned to finish their eighth year and graduate once and for all. With McGonagall as their headmistress, nothing could go wrong. Right? Upon their arrival at Hogwarts, McGonagall explains how the school year will go, and much to their dismay, the headmistress had way too different plans. Those who didn't get to finish -or start- their seventh year and were under the mercy of the Carrow twins will have to be bound to one of the opposite houses. Sleeping together in one dorm, sharing their personal space and going to class together, will the Gryffindor princess and the fallen Slytherin prince be able to keep their hands to themselves? ***** Disclaimer - I do not own anything of the Harry Potter franchise, all of that belongs to JKR. Warning:- This story contains strong language and mature themes.
