This short novel is about a girl named Spencer who has nobody, her dad walked out on her and her mother, and her mother is sick and dying. She's lost, she gets caught up in drugs and alcohol, and self-harm herself. She figures that there's no other way out but killing herself until one day something inspires her that suicide isn't the only way to make things better.
