Jiro, a boy with the ability to fly, is a Maharlika from Aradack who only wants to live ordinarily, staying on their island for the rest of his life. But when a tragedy strikes his family, his home becomes a constant torment of memories. He joins the hunt to escape his pain and sets out to find the soldier who would change his fate.

Reiji is the Matu, next in line for the throne of Daracka. He quenches his ambition to rule, but when he learns that someone he trusts betrayed him, he lets the fire inside him burn. He plays his own game of secrecy, risking the peace of the kingdom.
