Alex Anderson, a university student thought every has been going his way. He had a bright future awaiting for him, lots of things to look forward to once he graduated. But, it all changed when the country he lives in broke out into a war with the neighboring country, shattering his goals and aspirations along with others around him. Deciding he has nothing to look forward to, Alex decides to wither away his life inside his house. Sarah Smith, his childhood friend who went to the same university as him, comes and lift his spirits up and plans to survive and leave the country for a better future. Will they escape together towards that goal they have yearned for? Find out in this short story!
