Knowing what it means to be captured and experimented on is a given for Eri and Izuku. Nevertheless, it didn't stop them to find each other. Midoriya was a member of the Chisaki clan. He was in the hands of Overhall and it didn't stop him from thinking that Kai wasn't a bad person. There was always a reason for everything and so there must be a reason for why he was so obsessed with quirk elimination too. Being the person he is, Izuku still tries to find a way to save Eri. If he had to choose between saving himself and Eri, then he would go for Eri of course. He would make it happen somehow even if it means suffering on his own. Kacchan thinks that izuku is useless. Many probably think so too. Deku doesn't have a quirk but his mother paid the doctors not to write him down as quirkless. If you are quirkless, you will not only be treated very badly, but in some cases also hunted. Because of the blood. People with quirks have problems getting a blood donation. Someone with an animal quirk cannot donate or get any blood from another animal quirk that is not the same species or another quirk . A person with a fire quirk can only get or give blood from someone with a fire quirk. Blood loss is very dangerous only a quirkless person can donate blood to everyone and become blood from everyone. Quirkless doesn't mean useless but because of how quirkless kids are being treated they often end up dead.. Izuku Midoriya is a kid that was born quirkless. Once his parents found out about this, they immediatelly abandoned him and threw him out on the streets.
