When the StormBear clan begins to push into Wolf territory, the Wolf clans come together and fight side by side as a true Pack for the first time in centuries.
Astri is the Moondaughter of the AshWolf clan, the only daughter of the AshWolf Alpha. She's never been to battle before, but every Wolf is needed so she steps up to help. Paired with her eldest brother Tyr, she isn't ready when he's struck down and is left to fend for herself. Vulnerable, she's captured by the Bears and brought to their stronghold. From there she hopes to convince the Bears to stop invading her people's territory, and it seems it might work as she has the ear of one Bear in particular: Axel, the Heir Alpha of the StormBear clan. Not to mention her mate.
But nothing is ever simple, and the motive behind invading the Wolves goes deeper than a need for more land.

This is based on Vikings. Vikings were not just warriors and raiders, they had trade routes that went from modern-day Kiev to Egypt to Italy to the Middle East, where merchants from India and other countries further east also came trade. It was a bit like a modern day Costco or an international airport in those markets.
