Jane Taylor was freshly 19 when she met the band Metallica, she had know James for years then eventually met Lars, she had become like the bands younger sister and spent every waking moment with them. That was all until one day in 1982 Lars and James started talking about how they were going to kick Dave from the band and get this new kid Kirk  to play guitar for them. 
Don't get Jane wrong, she loved Dave but the way he got when he was drunk freaked her out, she couldn't do anything about the boys kicking him, so she let it happen.
Then she slowly stopped seeing Dave and slowly fell in love with Lars ulrich, which just happened to have a fat crush on her for years that she was oblivious too.
