In Yokohama city, everyone gets their abilities from gemstones. Nakahara Chuuya just so happens to be chosen by the infamous Arahabaki, a cursed gemstone with violent tendencies and uncontrollable power. In the world of detective and thieves. 18 years old Chuuya and Dazai open up their own detective agency with the help of a group called the "sheep" but when one day Dazai suddenly disappears with no note or text what happens to Chuuya even years later after the event happens how will Chuuya be able to cope with Arahabaki, his job as a police officer chasing down the phantom thief, dealing with two chaotic kids and the disappearance with his once so called lover.

"What is love, and how do you get rid of it?" Dazai doesn't typically feel any emotions, at all- or at least he can't understand them. He hates that Chuuya makes him feel emotions, specifically the emotion of love, so he in turn despises Chuuya for it instead. And it's driving him crazy. "I won't let you get away this time." Chuuya is doing his best to get over Dazai, but as usual, nothing goes according to plan for him. No matter how much Chuuya tries to deny it or change them, he can't get rid of his feelings. So he finally does something different about it.
