Many years ago, a virus was discovered. Everyone feared it could be something terrible, a virus that could wipe out millions, like many viruses before it. Some saw this as a miracle, but most, including the government, feared it.

Bluejays

Once upon a time, five people agreed to be part of a secret experiment. The experiment was meant to give them superpowers. They were promised that their loved ones would not be affected by the experiment, no matter what the outcome was. This was good, as the experiment failed--or so they thought. For one, it was her first child. For another, his second-born. For a third, her third. For the fourth, her fourth, and for the fifth, his first. They were all born with strange powers--powers that nobody could explain, and that put everybody around them in danger. Taken from their parents, the children were raised apart from society. They served a particular purpose. Nothing would go wrong. Until something does... or a lot of somethings.
